Local Secretary’s report
Nisha Zoeller has scheduled Sunday, January 31 for the reading of the scholarship essays. Bob and Angela expressed interest in judging the essays again via email.
Angela reported that she has made several attempts to contact the director of the Rochelle Park Library for use of its quiet room for testing. To date, she has not received any response. She is going to explore other venues for possible use.
There has been no interest in filling the position of the SIGHT Coordinator. Juliette will continue to post an “ad” in the newsletter.
Lynn Cutler has renewed her membership and will once again take on the duties of the Membership Chair. She discussed several ideas/plans, including initializing contact with new members, perhaps renewing interest in a 1st Friday gathering, adding members to the Facebook page and planning a “get-together” event, possibly for the spring.
Stephanie continues to keep the Gifted Youth Program active.
Reports were unanimously approved by committee.
Bill shared the financial report and preliminary budget information. Upon Lynn’s arrival to the meeting, the committee agreed to add expenses for the Membership Chair. All items and reports were unanimously approved by the committee. His several attempts to reach out to the scholarship winner have gone unanswered so he is planning to mail the check.
Imprint Editor’s report
Juliette reported that she is receiving content for the print version as well as the online version of the newsletter (which contains more information). Bob suggested adding news/events from other chapters to fill the calendar, if necessary.
As discussed in the last meeting, Juliette has received a new email address for retrieval of news, etc. and Keith has renewed the domain name.
Program Coordinator’s report
Keith is working on a program with the Morris County Astronomy Club and the Morris County Museum to schedule a lecture and telescope setting event, possible for early spring. Details to follow.

The next meeting of the ExComm is scheduled for Sunday, May 22 at noon at Angela’s home.
Keith moved to adjourn the meeting at 1:05 p.m. with Bill seconding the motion.
