Region 1 Roundup

News from National:

October is Membership Month

Invite your friends, family or other acquaintances to take the Mensa supervised membership test. Regularly priced at $40, the test battery is just $20 for the month of October.

From the National Office

American Mensa’s website will experience some brief, planned service interruptions in the coming weeks. The interruptions are an unavoidable side effect of the organization’s transition to a new Association Management System (AMS).

Thank you for your patience while this system is being implemented. The results will be worth it!

RVC Road Trips

I had the pleasure of meeting many of you during a number of visits to various chapters around the region this summer – Boston Mensa, Central New York Mensa, Connecticut and Western Massachusetts, Mensa of the Southern Tier of NY, Mid-Hudson Mensa, and Vermont Mensa. Thank you to those who attended, or just responded to my invitation. It was helpful hearing your experiences, views, suggestions and concerns. Many folks offered to step up and get more involved. This not only helps your local group, it makes your Mensa experience much more rewarding.
